IDM Confirmed as GSMA Certified P2P Hub Provider

IDM has been officially recognised as a GSMA Certified P2P Hub Provider. The certification from the GSMA — the global industry body of mobile network operators — concludes a multi-month audit process and confirms that IDM's IMT-HUB® platform meets the technical, operational and regulatory requirements for international person-to-person SMS routing.

What the certification means

GSMA-certified hubs are a small group — roughly 40 providers worldwide — with direct access to the interconnect networks of GSMA member operators. For MNOs on the other side, the certification means a reliable, audited counterparty with standardised SLAs, fraud-prevention capabilities and defined compliance frameworks.

Specifically, the GSMA audits signalling security per GSMA FS.11, interconnect quality including end-to-end latency and delivery rates, anti-fraud mechanisms (grey-route detection, SIM-box defence, AIT detection), and governance and data-protection practices.

What it means for customers

Enterprise customers benefit from verifiably certified routing quality for their international A2P and P2P traffic portfolio.

MNO partners gain an interconnect partner that protects their networks from leakage while opening up an audited A2P revenue flow.

Compliance teams get a documented audit track beyond the certification itself — including regular re-audits and transparency into changes in the GSMA standards.

What comes next

The certification is not an endpoint but the start of the next phase: IDM is currently working on extending the hub service to include RCS interconnect and sender-ID registry services for additional jurisdictions. Updates will follow in the coming quarters.
